Q. What role does Complete Marine Care LLC play in the management of the Yacht Club.

A. Complete Marine Care operates the Yacht Club for the membership. They are responsible for launching and retrieving boats from the holding docking area. They are to ensure that the above operations are safely performed without damage either to yacht club assets or members boats. They are responsible for maintaining the yacht club grounds and facilities, such as the club house, water facilities, sanitary facilities and the physical resources (lawn, docks, forklifts, et al).

Q. What are the opening and closing date for HLYC operations?

A. The HLYC officially opens on May 1st each year and closes on October 15th each year. Operation before and after these dates are at the discretion of the club operator/manager.

The floating docks are to be installed within one week of the water between Ragged Island and Long Island being free of ice.

Q. What steps do I have to take to rent my unit to a third party?

A. Assuming that a third party has been found, HLYC requires that you complete a "lease agreement" form to notify the club who will be utilizing the unit.

The form is available on this web site (FORMS page) in PDF format. The form is also included in each January's annual mailing.

Q. What steps do I have to take when I sell my unit to another party?

A. Assuming buyer has been identified, HLYC requires that you initially fill out a Right of First Refusal (ROFR) and send it to the yacht club secretary along with a check for $25.00. According to the HLYC by-laws, HLYC has the right to purchase back any unit at the offered price and the ROFR is HLYC's mechanism for waiving that right.

Secondly, upon receipt of the completed ROFR with HLYC's waiver, complete the sale and send a copy of the new RECORDED DEED to the yacht club secretary (PO Box 1115, Center Harbor, NH 03226-1115) so that the yacht club records may be updated and kept current.

The ROFR form is available on this website (FORMS page) in PDF format. The form is also included in each January's annual mailing.
